Hello! I began my journey to becoming a hairstylist before I understood it was truly my passion.  Mastering the latest hair styles was a hobby of mine from a young age.  So much so, that my friends come to me for formal styles before they go to a salon.  Due to the stereotype, I never understood the benefits of a career as a hairstylist, so life took me in a different direction. 

Originally from Cincinnati, I moved to Cleveland, Ohio in 2014.  A fresh start in a new city gave me the courage to participate in events I never would have before.  One event in particular was the turning point for my career.  I was chosen to be a hair model for a Salon Lofts Education event by the Peter Coppola brand.  A day with those ladies had me researching cosmetology schools the very next day.  I set my heart on Brown Aveda Institute in Mentor, Ohio.  I quit my job and moved to a new home in order to begin classes at Brown Aveda in July of 2016.  While the road has been tough, and far from over, I have felt more fulfilled than ever before.  I chose the name NuMoniHair for my brand because it represents the reinvention of who I am and the success that I desire.
